Anyway, as ever, Bitwarden has us covered. You probably know that you can add custom fields; but if you call them the same as the element id or the element name, then they will automatically autofill. I was not aware of that little trick. I've now fixed this entry in my own Bitwarden vault, so that it automatically fills in all three elements. Now with digital ocean you can set up a server in the cloud (the cloud is basically a computer someone else lets you us) that already has a lot of the work of self hosting done. Then you can have your Bitwarden talk to your own servers and you have more control. Costs more and is more work.
